  Pinnacles National Monument
  Soledad, California

This project included a new visitor center, a firehouse/maintenance building, a solar power station, and several site retaining walls of varying heights. The visitor center was composed of wood frame construction, with vaulted ceilings and exposed roof framing members. North-facing clerestory windows and south-facing perimeter windows were used effectively to reduce seasonal energy demands.
