This structure is a two-story wood framed office building of about 16,000 square feet. Soil conditions required that the foundation system consist of a structural slab on grade supported on concrete piles. Large, open interior spaces and complex framing required the use of some steel framing members and glued-laminated beams. The second floor framing was composed of plywood web joists.
