Both of these student-housing complexes consist of two-story buildings constructed in the late 1960's. Seismic deficiencies, such as inadequate and discontinuous shear walls, undersized holdowns, “tuck-under parking”, and lack of drag struts, were addressed as part of an extensive renovation and rehabilitation program.
